Part Time Grappler Nominated for an Award

If you've been reading my blog for any length of time, you have likely seen me link to a blog called the Part Time Grappler on more than one occasion. Part Time Grappler is run by Liam Wandi, a brother in jiu-jitsu from across the pond, and his perspective on the art is comforting with so many other writers in the sport obsessed with world champions and with becoming world champions. Wandi's take on jiu-jitsu is similar to mine: enjoy it, and if you have a family and a job and other responsibilities, simply be the best that you can be. That's what being a part time grappler is all about.

If you haven't read any of Wandi's work, I highly recommend that you do so as soon as you can.

Once you've read his work, you should support Part Time Grappler's nomination as a blog of the year by heading over to Jiu-Jitsu Style and voting for Wandi. He's a good guy and has been working very hard to contribute to jiu jitsu in a positive way.

  1. It warms my heart to read this Marshal. Not just the praise, but the fact that you so effortlessly summarised what being a Part Time Grappler is all about just from reading the blog. Coming from a published author, this fills me with pride.

As for your readers, I would love it if you could take a couple of moments to fill in the survey Marshal links to above. It's 5-6 multiple choice clicks and takes a max 20-30 secs to do (after all, I know how valuable your time is!).

    Once again, many thanks.
